Haiti Food Innovation ET is an Ethiopian bakery and food-processing enterprise that combines practical production experience, enset knowledge, structured research and quality-focused manufacturing. We develop and produce foods from teff, wheat, kocho, bulla and other locally valued ingredients for households, retailers, institutions and specialty markets.
Our portfolio begins with the foods people know and trust, and extends into new formats that make locally important crops more convenient and more valuable.

Pure kocho flour, bulla flour and kocho-teff and kocho-wheat blends, milled and packed for household, food-service and manufacturing use.

Teff injera and kocho-teff injera, plus our flagship instant teff injera flour, ready to prepare in minutes.

Everyday wheat bread, soft kocho breads and buns, cakes, and kocho cookies and biscuits.

Kocho energy bars, Soft Delight bites, snack crisps and instant porridge formats for busy days.
Enset is deeply connected to the food culture and resilience of southern Ethiopia. Haiti Food Innovation ET works to improve the consistency, convenience and market readiness of enset-derived ingredients and foods, while respecting traditional knowledge and applying disciplined quality controls.

Our research programme focuses on safer and more repeatable processing, rapid-preparation foods, composite flours, fermentation, packaging, shelf life and scalable local production. Product claims are made only when the relevant formula, process and package are supported by appropriate evidence, including independent results from an accredited external laboratory.
More than 136 full-time employees across production, quality, distribution and support roles.
We work with small, women-dominated rural enterprises producing kocho around Bonga, and with nearby farmers and suppliers.
Eleven distribution centres carry everyday staples and packaged ingredients to established markets.
Locally grown crops become packaged, quality-controlled foods, keeping more value within the region.
Retailers, institutions, researchers, development partners and investors. We welcome serious inquiries and responsible collaboration.
